The FSO Paint Shop
The FSO Paint Shop can render services in painting of top coats on vehicle bodies and application of anti-corrosive coats on single car elements, so-called aftersale parts.
The machines and equipment can be used for application of top coats on car bodies with the following maximum dimensions:
- Length – 4800mm
- Width – 1800mm
- Height – 1500mm
The basic processes are:
- phosphating in a 13-zone line by dip-spray method
- 6th generation lead-free electrodeposition, ED6000
- sealing of inner and outer seams of steel panels of car bodies,
- protection of vehicle underbody with PVC material,
- painting with a primer coat – automatic electrostatic spray – 3 primer colors can be used,
- top coat two-zone painting: base coat + clear coat,
- 16 colors can be used, also so-called ”short series”
- anticorrosive cavity wax application into enclosed car body areas.
We use painting materials at our Paint Shop satisfying the standards valid in the car industry, which guarantee the required quality of paint coats and fulfill the requirements of environment protection.
Our suppliers are well known in the automotive sector. We have had common experiences and good cooperation with them for a number of years:
- HENKEL – phosphating process, sealing materials
- PPG – electrodeposition, primer, base paint, clear paint
- 3M - sanding and polishing materials
In our technology process, we have implemented ecology-oriented solutions in order to reduce the negative impact on the natural environment, which include: electrodeposition ED-6000, waterborne base and clear paints.
Anticorrosive protection of single body elements, so-called „aftersale parts”, includes phosphating and electrodeposition processes. The parts are transferred in boxes specially made for this purpose with the external diameters:
- Width – 1700 mm
- Length – 3700 mm
- Height – 1350 mm
